Hello Crafty People and welcome to my Blog ! Today I’m going to share with you adorable little projects that are easy to put together and make the cutest gifts or keepsakes. Maya Road Bottle caps are unusual items and so much fun to work on as you can create any look from cute to shabby.
All the items in this post are available from Made With Love, B2-08, 313 Somerset, Orchard Road.
This next design was inspired by the Simple Stories collection Cabin Fever with an addition of the stamped Papa Bear and Baby Bear from Mama Elephant. The title Let’s Go is a mix of Alphanumerics 3/4 Thinlits and the Bigz Deco Alphabets.
Bo Bunny makes such pretty papers and the pink shades was matched with Prima Flowers, the Small Talk word stickers from Idea-ology providing the title Delightful.
Before we begin, here is the list of the Sizzix Dies I used :
Alterations Mini Detailed Butterfly Thinlits
Alterations Wildflowers #2 Thinlits
Alphanumerics 3/4″ Alphabet Thinlts
Alterations XL Bigz Deco Alphabet
Butterfly Lantern Thinlits
These are medium sized Bottle Caps and they measure approximately 7.5cm across.
I used a Sizzix Circle Framelits to die cut a circle for the bottom of the cap. A foam piece was adhered under the paper to lift it.
You can decorated the Caps as they are, but I wanted to frame them on 10cm square MDF wood tiles to give more substance to the projects.
This is how it looks.
The anchor to the whole design was the title So Happy die cut using the Alphanumerics 3/4″ Alphabet Thinlits
The other elements were fitted around it including the Mini Detailed Butterfly . This is such a pretty die as each Butterfly comes with a shadow die and imagine the number of projects you can use it in.
Here you can see the completed layers with the Wildflowers #2 fronds as well as the leaves Thinlits that came with the Butterfly Lantern set.
You can add any embellishments and customise the Bottle Caps as you like, so much fun right ? With the small size, use your scraps and left-over chipboard accens, your stickers as fillers and before you know it, the Bottle Cap is done !
Thank you for joining me today, have a good, craft inspired week ahead.
